Turkey's First Mars Exploration Vehicle

ITU Rover, consulted by our General Manager Dr. Serkan Türkeli, was the first and only team accepted from Turkey. This year, 82 teams from 13 countries applied to the University Rover Challenge (UCR) competition, the first of which was held by the Mars Society in 2007.

ITU Rover Team:

• 3rd highest score in Science Cache Task
• 3rd highest score in Autonomous Traversal Task
• 12th highest score in Extreme Retrieval and Delivery Task
• 15th highest score in Equipment Servicing Task

ranked 13th overall and completed the competition ahead of respected universities such as McGill, Michigan and Waterloo.
